Intro-To-Dirt Bike Lessons | Over And Out X GPMX
This booking is for one person to attend an Intro-To-Dirt off-road motorcycling lesson on the date selected, hosted by Over And Out and GPMX. This booking does not include the use of a motorcycle from the GPMX fleet, please book that item separately on the Over And Out website - and be sure to book it for the correct date!
Course Description: These classes are ideal for anyone who is new to either off-road motorcycling or motorcycling altogether. In fact, starting with a small novice-friendly dirt bike is the BEST way to approach motorcycling all around.
These classes are conducted in a grass field, teaching you all the fundamentals of riding in the safest, controlled space possible, helping you to get comfortable operating a dirt bike. This course will take you through a series of exercises covering things like clutch and throttle control, braking, turning, body position, and many other aspects of dirt bike riding.
No motorcycle experience required.
For anyone with limited dirt bike experience (less than 25 hours on a dirt bike) and/or has never had any formal dirt bike training.
Please note: the amount of experience you have riding a motorcycle on the street does not affect which course you should take. If you have a lot of of on-road riding experience, we'll spend less time on the most basic aspects of the course, but you should still take this course if you're new to the dirt.
Class details, schedule etc are at: overandoutevents.com/womens-intro-to-dirt-2026
BIKE DETAILS / REQUIREMENTS
The ideal bike for this class is a 4-stroke trail bike with knobby tires, 125-140cc. The GPMX fleet will be on site, fully prepped, gassed up and ready to go! You can book a bike separately via the Over And Out website. If you’re bringing your own bike, we recommend a dirt bike that fits the above description.
GEAR REQUIREMENTS
These bookings do not include gear, but have fairly minimal gear requirements because you’ll be on a controlled, level, grass-covered area. You must have a DOT certified helmet, gloves, sturdy pants (jeans, riding pants, no leggings), long-sleeve shirt, and over-the-ankle boots (motorcycle boots not required).
MULTIPLE BOOKING OPTIONS Choose from two date options:
Saturday, April 11, 2026 9am-4pm
Saturday, May 9, 2026 9am-4pm

BEFORE BOOKING!
1. You must have an AMA Membership OR 1-Event pass (just $20) to take a lesson. To get one, click HERE and then click the JOIN/RENEW button top-right. Enter your AMA number during booking.
AMA Membership is required for most events, trainings, races and club organizations. While it’s not required for our event, it is required for lessons. It may make most financial sense to secure an annual membership instead of a 1-event pass.
3. All bookings are NON-Refundable.
