There truly is something for everyone!

Dirt Bikes and Dual Sports <400cc

We mark trails for all skill levels. The onsite terrain offers an incredible variety, including:
    • Wooded trails with winding singletrack through lush green forest
    • Rocky and sandy powerline sections
    • Rocky or grassy two-track
    • Wide open meadows
    • Fun grass tracks and a log park created and maintained by the OAO team

NEW TRAILS! We’re thrilled to share that our trail network has expanded with several miles of brand-new singletrack—and we’re planning to build even more for 2026. These new routes wind through previously untouched forest, delivering fresh terrain with flowy sections, tight technical turns, and a few surprise features to keep riders of all levels smiling.

For onsite trails, we recommend bikes up to 400cc with full dirt tires. If you’re thinking about bringing something different, just shoot us an email and we’ll help you decide.

Dual Sport & ADV Bikes (Street Legal)

We also offer something few events do: a fully guided ride where you don’t have to plan a thing. Just show up and ride.

We’ll lead you along beautiful scenic routes, quiet farm roads, and of course make a stop for ice cream at our favorite Pennsylvania dairy.

More ride details will be shared after event registration opens.

  • ——-- BIKES —-—-

    New / Novice Riders

We strongly recommend that new riders take lessons using one of our lesson fleet bikes—4-stroke trail bikes in the 125–150cc range (or bring something similar).

These bikes are the best way to learn proper technique and build confidence. Even if you have street riding experience, starting on dirt with a lightweight 4-stroke will help you progress faster and have more fun.

    Dirt Bike / Woods Riders

For the onsite trail system, we recommend trail or dirt bikes with full knobby tires, 400cc or less, most ideally 150-300cc. East Coast woods riding is tight and technical, so smaller displacement bikes tend to perform best in this terrain.

If you have a dual sport <400cc, with dirt tires and you are experienced, you may ride the woods trails.

Street-Legal Dual Sport & ADV Bikes

If your bike is plated, registered, and insured, you’re in for something special!

We offer guided scenic rides for our dual sport and ADV riders, included with your event ticket. No planning, no GPS tracks—come ready to ride, and we take care of the rest!

Our ride leaders handle the route while you enjoy beautiful backroads, quiet farm country, and classic Pennsylvania scenery, with a fun stop along the way—usually ice cream at our favorite local dairy.

If you ride a dual sport under 400cc with dirt tires and have woods experience, you may also enjoy the onsite trails.

    Motocross Bikes

Motocross bikes <250cc are welcome, but they tend to be better suited for the grass tracks, open areas, and haul roads rather than tight woods trails. You’re welcome to ride them—just be mindful not to excessively tear up the property.

    Mini Bikes & Pit Bikes

Feel free to bring mini bikes or pit bikes for games, cruising around camp, or just having fun anytime.

    ——— GEAR ———

Required for All Riders:‍ ‍A full-face dirt bike helmet is required at all times while riding.

    Beginner Lessons

    Minimum recommended gear:
    • Helmet (dirt helmet preferred; DOT street helmets acceptable for beginner lessons)
    • Long sleeves, sturdy pants, gloves
    • Protective boots that cover the ankle

    Woods Riding
    • Full-face dirt helmet
    • Goggles
    • Gloves
    • Knee pads or knee braces
    • Upper body protection (your preferred combination of back, shoulders, elbows, etc.)
    • Off-road or motocross boots

    Guided Street-Legal Rides
    • DOT-approved helmet (street or dirt)
    • Goggles or eye protection
    • Gloves
    • Knee pads or braces
    • Upper body protection (your preferred combination of back, shoulders, elbows, etc.)
    • Off-road riding boots

The more protective gear you wear, the safer and more confident you’ll feel on the bike—and the more fun you’ll have riding!

  • Camping is included with your ticket. We have a large field designated for parking and camping. It is grass, clean and mowed. The ground is hard, level and suitable for large heavy vehicles. There is plenty of room. We ask those with overnight generators park furthest west, further away from the common area.

A short walk away from the camping field is the common area with a large tent, tables and seating, and a big campfire pit surrounded by large rocks to sit on. Early mornings are blissful as we wake to the crisp air and a soft fog that rises through the valley. Soon enough the scene comes to life with hundreds of women starting up their engines!

After a day of riding and having fun, walk just a short way over to our beautiful camping area surrounded by woods-covered hillsides all around. Settle in to this bowl of greenery alongside your new riding friends, enjoy beautiful sunsets and a peaceful canopy of stars.

There are no hookups and no potable or running water. RV’s must be self-contained, and all drinking water brought in. We provide ample porta-potties and hand-washing units, which get freshly serviced and re-stocked mid-event.

  • Lesson options and details will open for booking March 20th!

FAQs

All specifics on lesson sign-ups, guided rides, activities, food options and other details will be shared via our blog and linked to this event page, above. The following details may be subject to change, especially prior to registration opening.

What's the refund policy? NO REFUNDS. We can’t even begin to explain here in text how much hard work and expense goes into creating an event like Over And Out, especially in the Northeast where land is scarce, and in today’s environment with challenging insurance requirements. So, we ask one thing of our community and friends when buying a ticket. Please be comfortable with the idea that if you can’t attend after all that your money will help support what we’re doing, which is: creating special, enjoyable and high-quality events for off-road enthusiasts, bringing more riders into the sport, and supporting female athletes and other riding organizations and communities via our Race Division.

Who can attend this event?  Women and non-binary individuals, ages 18+, who have a ticket to the event. Due to changes in insurance specifications our previous age limit of 16+ has changed. No spectators: Non-ticket-holders are not allowed to stop by, visit, or stay and hang out for any portion of the event. Ticket-holders are the ONLY ones allowed to enter and remain on site, as per our insurance rules and agreements. If you need someone to drop you off at the very beginning and pick you up at the end, this is allowed but you must: Email the ticket-holder’s name and the temporary guest person’s name to kelly@overandoutevents.com and upon arrival at the event you both must check in with the gate-keeper, guest person must sign a waiver to get a temporary wrist band for drop off/unload, and they must check in with the gate-keeper to confirm their departure so we can be sure only ticket-holders remain on site.

Do I need to have a motorcycle license to attend?  You DON’T need a license to attend, take a lesson or ride an off-road-only dirt bike. You DO need a license if you plan to ride a street legal dual sport or ADV bike on our guided outings (you must also be plated and insured).

Do I need my own bike to attend?  Generally yes, but our lesson providers offer the use of their fleets for appropriate daily rates. Explore the event and lesson provider details linked to this page, above.

What kind of motorcycles can be ridden at this event? We offer a variety of terrain options to deliver fun for riders of all skill levels and bike types. For new and novice riders, we recommend you take a lesson with one of the class bikes, or ride a 4-stroke trail bike that is under 150cc. For woods riders, we recommend any trail or dirt bike that has full dirt (knobby) tires and we recommend a maximum of 350cc. East Coast woods trails are tight and sometimes slick, and lower cc engines are ideal for this terrain. For heavier dual sport and ADV bikes we run incredibly fun guided outings that explore local scenic routes on a mix of pavement, dirt roads and/or farm roads. These groups will make stops at local attractions, photo ops, or an amazing ice cream spot (depending on the route planned for the year!) For these rides, you must be street-legal (plated, registered and insured, with a motorcycle license).

Riders are welcome to bring motocross bikes, knowing they’ll probably be more fun on the grass tracks, open areas and haul roads than on the tight woods trails, but it’s your prerogative to ride it. All riders should intend to ride within marked boundaries, without excessively tearing up the property. You can also bring mini bikes and pit bikes - and please do cuz they’re so fun!

Will there be guided Dual Sport / ADV rides at this event?  Yes! For street-legal dual sport and ADV bikes we run incredibly fun guided outings that explore local scenic routes on a mix of pavement, dirt roads and/or farm roads. These groups will make stops at local attractions, photo ops, or an amazing ice cream spot (depending on the route planned for the year!) For these rides, you must be street-legal (plated, registered and insured, with a motorcycle license and tires must be 80/20 or more aggressive).

Will there be any lessons?  Yes. Exact lesson options and detail will open for booking in March, via this website. Over And Out is the place to take lessons and work on expanding your knowledge and comfort zones, because we have the land, the expert instructors, the right bikes and the support to make it easy for you! Lessons carry their own fee, and we work with our lesson partners to offer specially discounted prices in conjunction with OAO registration. All lesson details and minimum gear requirements are described at their point of sale, and lessons require AMA Membership (details shared at point of booking). Helmets and other protective gear are NOT included in lesson bookings.

Why are lessons not included in the ticket price? This approach allows everyone to choose training à la carte based on their skill level and goals. Including lessons in the base registration would raise the price for everyone — even those who don’t want instruction. We’re also proud to support our small-business instructors by providing the land, covering AMA sanctioning costs, and extending our insurance coverage to them. That means they simply charge for their time or bike use (including fuel, maintenance, and delivery), allowing them to pass meaningful savings directly on to you. It’s truly a win for everyone.

What type of gear do I need to wear?  Full-face dirt bike helmets are required AT ALL TIMES when riding. Beginners: Dirt helmets, gloves, protective boots that cover the ankle (DOT-approved street helmet are acceptable if that’s all you have).  Anyone riding In the woods: Full-face dirt helmets, goggles, gloves, knee pads or braces, upper body protection (some combination of back, elbow, shoulder, arm as you prefer) and off-road riding/motocross boots. Anyone riding on the street: DOT-approved street/dirt helmets, goggles, gloves, knee pads or braces, upper body protection (some combination of back, elbow, shoulder, arm as you prefer) and off-road riding boots. We recommend wearing as much protective gear as possible to keep you safe.

What if I don’t have my own gear? We recommend purchasing some from our sponsors Fox, REV’IT or any of the above via Revzilla.com. Check out this beginner gear guide on our blog. Looking for recommendations? Ask the many members of our community in our Facebook Group!

What tire pressure should I run on the trails?  Tires must be in good shape and should have pressure at a recommended 12-14psi for the trails/woods. If you need a refill, our support team can help but please attempt to be properly filled when you arrive.

Will there be mechanical support? Yes. Our Trail Support Team includes experienced mechanics who can assist with minor adjustments and standard repairs to help keep you rolling. That said, you are responsible for bringing a safe, well-maintained bike to the event. Please don’t arrive with a known issue expecting on-site providers, volunteers, or fellow attendees to rebuild it for you. We strongly recommend having your bike inspected by a mechanic at least a month before the event. We’ll absolutely do what we can on site to keep you riding and having a great time. Be sure to come prepared with essentials like spare tubes, spark plugs, and clutch or brake levers specific to your bike — these are smart items to have on hand at any ride!

What is the camping area like?  Our camping area is a prime setting — a large, clean, mowed grass field with plenty of space for parking and camping. The ground is firm and level, making it suitable for larger, heavier vehicles. If you’re staking a tent, bring a solid hammer — the ground is hard. There are no trees within the main field (just along the perimeter), so plan to bring your own shade. If you’re running a generator overnight, we ask that you park toward the far west side, away from the main cabin area. Just a short walk from camp, you’ll find our common gathering space: a cabin, a large event tent with tables and seating, and a fire pit surrounded by stone seating. At sunset, it’s an incredible place to relax and connect as the sun drops behind the mountainside. Please note: there are no hookups or running water on site. RVs must be self-contained, and all drinking water must be brought in. We provide ample porta-potties and hand-washing stations, which are serviced mid-event for cleanliness and comfort.

Can I come ride the property some other time?  Sorry, no. The property is privately owned and riding access is limited to our events. We make it a priority to not impact the quality of the land too much, don’t trespass or create problems for the land-owners.

Can I ride anywhere I want? All riders should ride only on our mapped and marked trails and within mapped boundaries. Everyone should ride with the intention of not excessively tearing up the property. The goal of this event is to keep everyone safe, have a great time, and to keep this property in ideal condition so we can continue to have events here.

Can I arrive early or stay longer on site? We cannot have anyone on site aside from the dates and times stated, which is: arrival as early as 5pm on Thursday 6/11 and departure by 2pm sharp on Sunday 6/14. You can arrive later than Thursday, such as Friday or Saturday morning, but we will not adjust the ticket price. For additional days/nights you will have to find another place to stay.

What do I do with my garbage?  Aside from a few trash cans in the common areas, you are responsible for your trash. Please keep a trash bag at your camp site, and take it with you when you go. Leave no trace, keep things clean.

Will the event be cancelled in bad weather?  The event will be held rain or shine.  No refunds will be offered, as so much work goes into these events that we have to be fully committed, and we hope you are too. Any aspect within the event could be subject to cancellation in extreme weather for the safety of the riders. If there is a storm we will ask riders to come in for safety.

Will there be food?  Always! A big family-style BBQ will be held on Saturday evening, and that is included with your ticket! Other food details will be posted after registration opens, and communicated via email to ticket-holders.

What can I bring?  Bring everything you need for riding and camping including gear, extra gas, a battery pack for your phone, plenty of water, sunscreen, bath wipes, camp bedding, tent etc. Here is our standard recommended packing list.

Is alcohol allowed? You may bring alcoholic beverages, but drinking alcohol is NOT allowed until riding is done for the entire day. We have a zero tolerance policy for excessive drunkenness or even attempting to operate a motor vehicle while intoxicated at any level. Safety is our top priority.

What can’t I bring? No pets or animals, no persons without a ticket (including babies, children, anyone under the age of 18), no guns, no weapons of any kind, no fireworks, no promotional or marketing materials, no banners or overwhelming visual items, no items for sale, no giveaways without event permission, no illegal substances, no pollutants, no individual fires. No obnoxious, racist, crass signage, apparel and so on. We expect all attendees and participants to conduct themselves responsibly, with integrity and respectful behavior and to help ensure comfort and safety for all attendees. Our collective focus is on riding and having fun in an environment that is comfortable for all participants.

Can I have my own fire? No, by land agreement we have just one large campfire that our staff manages. Individual fires in the camping area are not permitted.

Can I hand out swag representing my brand, take photos for my brand or bring items for sale? No. We curate the experience for our attendees with contributions from sponsors we value and trust. We want our attendees have a nice time without solicitation or distraction. Promotional photography is strictly prohibited. If you’d like to speak to OAO about sponsorship opportunities, contact us.

I don’t like your rules or how you do things. Will you change any of that for me? We always take in the feedback from our attendees to help make our events better. Most people are not aware of the many details we need to consider, such as logistics, safety, sponsor and partner operations, land management, or what makes for a positive experience for the most attendees. Understand that we care about you and your experience, but there are many factors that guide our ultimate decision-making.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions? Use our contact form. :)

I bought a ticket but now can’t come. Can I transfer the name of the ticket to a friend? You must contact us to do this at least 14 days prior to the event. Please use our contact form. We’ll reach out, but ultimately payment must be arranged directly between you and your third party - we will not issue any refunds.

What's the refund policy? Sorry, NO REFUNDS for any reason.
